abstract: I owe the idea of Visible Cities (Città visibili) to Giovanna Franci with whom I discussed it until our last meeting, now more than four years ago. Four years in which we have really missed her open, inquisitive scholarly approach capable of creating and exchanging different impressions of the urban area.
